Endless Process Automation operates from our Gladstone office at 141 Goondoon Street, supplying and supporting instrumentation and automation equipment for Gladstone’s industrial sector. From the port precinct to Curtis Island LNG facilities, alumina refineries to water infrastructure — we provide the measurement and control technology that keeps Gladstone’s operations running.
We’re an independent, multi-vendor supplier. We don’t push one brand. We assess your application, recommend the right technology, and back it up with field experience across 20+ years in heavy industry.
Curtis Island hosts three of Australia’s largest LNG export facilities. The measurement requirements are exacting: custody transfer flow measurement, cryogenic temperature and level monitoring, H₂S and hydrocarbon gas detection, and high-integrity pressure measurement across compression trains and storage terminals.
We supply precision instrumentation suited to LNG and gas processing environments including:
– Ultrasonic and Coriolis flow meters for custody transfer and fiscal measurement
– Cryogenic-rated level transmitters for LNG storage tanks
– MSA fixed gas detection and open path systems for H₂S, methane, and hydrocarbon monitoring
– High-accuracy differential pressure transmitters for separator and vessel control
– Safety-rated instrumentation for SIL-rated applications
Gladstone’s alumina refinery and aluminium smelter operate some of the most abrasive, high-temperature process environments in Australian industry. Slurry flows, caustic liquor circuits, and high-temperature gas streams place extreme demands on instrumentation.
Common applications we support:
– Magnetic flow meters for caustic slurry and liquor flows
– Coriolis meters for alumina slurry density and mass flow measurement
– High-temperature pressure transmitters for digestion and calcination circuits
– Level measurement in clarifiers, settlers, and storage tanks
– Gas detection for fluoride, CO, and hydrocarbon monitoring
Gladstone Port is one of Queensland’s busiest bulk export terminals. Weighing, level measurement, and flow monitoring are critical to efficient cargo handling and throughput optimisation.
We supply:
– Belt weighing and loss-in-weight systems for bulk material handling
– Level sensors for storage silos and hoppers
– Flow measurement for dust suppression and wash-down water systems
– Gas detection for enclosed spaces and bulk chemical storage
Gladstone’s power station and associated infrastructure require reliable pressure, temperature, and flow measurement for steam generation, cooling water systems, and fuel handling.
We supply:
– Vortex and differential pressure flow meters for steam measurement
– Pressure transmitters for boiler and turbine monitoring
– Level measurement for boiler feedwater and fuel storage
– Gas detection for boiler house and fuel storage areas
We supply flow measurement, level sensors, and water quality analysers for Gladstone Regional Council’s water treatment and wastewater infrastructure, including electromagnetic flow meters, radar level sensors, and pH/turbidity analysers.
Our satellite + telemetry modems and antennas ensure reliable, low-latency data transmission in remote areas, maintaining critical connectivity for monitoring and control. Designed for efficiency and durability, our telemetry solutions collect and transmit vital data from remote sensors, enabling real-time visibility and data-driven decisions.
Large industrial sites in Gladstone have traditionally been served by national distributors with long lead times, inflexible supply chains, and limited on-site support. When an instrument fails mid-shift at Curtis Island or Boyne Smelters, you don’t need a catalogue — you need someone who knows the application, has the right product, and can get it to site.
We’re independent. No single-vendor tie. We work with IFM, MSA, Red Meters, and a broad range of global manufacturers to find the best fit for each application — not the most profitable sale.
We’ve worked in heavy industry. Our team has 20+ years of field experience across refining, mining, and energy. We understand the operating environments specific to Gladstone — the heat, the corrosive media, the safety requirements — before we recommend anything.
We come to site. Before specifying instruments for a critical application, we want to understand it in person. A site visit to Gladstone is standard, not an extra.
Our Gladstone office means local response. Parts, technical support, and calibration services without the delays of routing everything through Brisbane or interstate
Yes. We supply instrumentation and automation equipment to LNG processing and export facilities including Curtis Island operations. This includes flow measurement, gas detection systems, pressure transmitters, and level instrumentation suited to LNG and gas processing environments. Contact us with your application requirements and we’ll advise on appropriate technologies and lead times.
Yes. We are an authorised MSA channel partner supplying fixed point gas detectors (IR400, Ultima X5000, and SMC series), open path detectors, flame detectors, and gas detection control panels. We also provide calibration services for fixed gas detection systems. For Gladstone sites handling H₂S, hydrocarbons, or fluoride gases, contact us to discuss appropriate detection technologies.
We operate from our Gladstone office at 141 Goondoon Street. Many common instruments and spare parts are available locally or via short lead times from Australian distributors. For project or shutdown supply, we can plan stock and delivery in advance. Contact us to discuss your requirements and lead time expectations.
Yes. Electromagnetic (magnetic) flow meters are the standard choice for caustic slurry and Bayer process liquor applications in alumina refining. We supply magnetic flow meters with appropriate liner materials (PTFE, polyurethane, or rubber depending on the fluid) and electrode materials (Hastelloy, titanium, or platinum) rated for caustic environments. We can advise on the correct specification for your specific liquor composition and temperature.
For most Gladstone applications, guided wave radar and free-space radar level transmitters are preferred due to their reliability in high-temperature, high-pressure, and vapour-rich environments. For open tanks and sumps, ultrasonic sensors are cost-effective. For slurry-heavy applications in alumina, pressure-based level measurement can be appropriate. We’ll recommend the right technology based on your specific vessel, media, and process conditions.
